Tom Campbell BA (Hons)
Tom is a wildlife photographer and aspiring filmmaker. A fascination with nature and a desire to capture it's beauty and often harsh reality on camera has led Tom to following a career in wildlife filmmaking, in the hope of encouraging and educating others to help conserve our natural world.
Tom studied photography at the University of South Wales in Cardiff and graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in photography. He is now currently studying a Masters in Wildlife Filmmaking at the University of West of England (UWE) and continuing to work as a freelance camera assistant and second cameraman with clients including BBC, Global Drone Surveys and Tern TV.
Tom’s work focuses mainly on the natural world, particularly ornithology and conservation. Tom takes a fine art approach in his wildlife photography, often filling the frame with charismatic portraits to convey emotion and to delve into the secret lives of our wild counterparts. The other side of Tom's work factors in a documentary approach to better understand the conservation and the introduction of species as well as looking at the effects that man can have on the natural world.
